HA! I am kicking out the birthday layouts. My husband turned 24 in early June and I have been waiting for the perfect layout to scrap his photos. I tried to keep it manly so no flowers, or pink. Yes it about killed me :)
(ETA: I took a few shots of sparkles mixed with lace and I am starting to feel more like my self!)
His birthday was a bit unusual. He had to leave out of town and he arrived late late on his birthday home and we had a make shift party. But hey, he had his favorite cake and we are happy so it works!
Had fun working on this LO I used the page map shown below and that helped me out a lot! The paper is simple stories the line is documented. I want MORE of it. I only had 1 12x12 and a few 6x6s. His initals are J and C so I thought that was cute to add those tags in with the arrow brads. The journaling is done and its up on the wall beside my birthday page. The stitching is crappy on purpose, I wanted it thick, so I ran over it a few times in a zigzag stitch, some places 4 or 5 times!
