Happy 24th to MY HUSBAND!

HA! I am kicking out the birthday layouts. My husband turned 24 in early June and I have been waiting for the perfect layout to scrap his photos. I tried to keep it manly so no flowers, or pink. Yes it about killed me :)

(ETA: I took a few shots of sparkles mixed with lace and I am starting to feel more like my self!)

His birthday was a bit unusual. He had to leave out of town and he arrived late late on his birthday home and we had a make shift party. But hey, he had his favorite cake and we are happy so it works!

Had fun working on this LO I used the page map shown below and that helped me out a lot!  The paper is simple stories the line is documented. I want MORE of it. I only had 1 12x12 and a few 6x6s.  His initals are J and C so I thought that was cute to add those tags in with the arrow brads. The journaling is done and its up on the wall beside my birthday page.  The stitching is crappy on purpose, I wanted it thick, so I ran over it a few times in a zigzag stitch, some places 4 or 5 times!

Work in progress

I have been very MIA recently, getting started on bigger projects and also readdicted to a fecking video game.  But I am deleting the game in hopes that I spend more time on the projects and less at a game. Oh boy anyway the items I am working on now in order of importance to me

1. Graphic 45 "believe" banner

I am using chipboard shapes and letters and layering the graphic 45 image sheets onto the shapes. Eventually this will be tacked to a yard stick to hang above my kitchen doorway in christmas time. Only a few letters are done, in the end it will spell out "Believe". Look in the corner of the I, its the bottle cap I made! Gooooo Me!

2. Graphic 45 happy haunting chipboard mini album type thing. Super sexy, graphic 45 violates every pocket I have. Love their stuff! The end result I want from this items is chunky, busy and loads of eye candy on the page.  1 page down, 6 more to go LOL!

3. BoBunny little miss mini album. I have not gotten far on this yet, just now got some paper and embellishments. Still looking to buy the album, stickers and what not. Nonexistent in my area and expensive to ship it in to me.
